Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about finding and hosting matchday experiences.

What is crucible.fans?

crucible.fans is a global matchday discovery platform. We help fans find and join "ends" — places where people gather to watch live sports together. Whether it's a local bar, a fan zone, or someone's living room, we connect you with the best matchday experiences in your city.

What is an "end"?

An end is any place where fans gather to watch a match. The term comes from matchday culture — it can be a pub, a sports bar, a fan zone, a private viewing party, or a public screening. On crucible.fans, anyone can create an end and invite others to join.

How do I find an end near me?

Browse our city directory on the home page or visit your city's page directly. Each city page shows a map of all active ends with details like location, capacity, and available spots. Pick one that works for you and lock in your spot.

What does "lock in" mean?

Locking in reserves your spot at an end. Each end has a limited capacity, so locking in ensures you have a place when matchday arrives. You can cancel your lock-in anytime before the event.

Can I host my own end?

Yes! Sign in and visit your city's page to create an end. You'll set the location, capacity, match, and any entry requirements. Once created, fans can discover it on the map and lock in their spots.

Is crucible.fans free to use?

Joining ends is free. Individual hosts may charge an entry fee or ask for pay-what-you-want contributions (like drinks at a bar), but that's up to the host — not crucible.fans.

Which sports does crucible.fans cover?

crucible.fans covers all live sports events. We launched with a focus on soccer and the FIFA World Cup 2026, but the platform supports any sport — football, basketball, rugby, cricket, tennis, and more.

Which cities are available?

We currently cover 20+ cities across multiple countries, including London, New York, Munich, Berlin, Paris, Madrid, Tokyo, and Sydney. We're adding new cities regularly — check back often.
